Linda Zambrano
Linda Zambrano took her first ballet class when she was three and loved to perform in her pink tutu! It wasn’t until college that she began her serious dance training and it became her passion as she studied ballet, modern, jazz and choreography. She received the Dancer of the Year award in 1985 at Palomar College where she immersed herself in a wide variety of dance styles, performing, and producing choreography. She was a guest performer for San Diego’s Jazz Unlimited Dance Company in their 1985 production of the Jazz Nutcracker, with her primary role as the Chinese Princess. Linda has also danced with a variety of local companies which include being a principal dancer for Aguilar Dance Ensemble and principal dancer and choreographer for the All For Fun Dancers. In 1990, along with Faith Jensen-Ismay and Mary Neuru, Linda founded Mojalet Dance Collective in San Diego where they were able to produce their own choreography as well as promote other local choreographers and dancers.
For the last several years Linda has enjoyed teaching dance and raising her family. She and her husband Keith have called Temecula their home for 29 years while raising their two sons. They are very proud parents as both boys are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. Linda has been teaching dance at TDC for the past 14 years and has loved every minute of it!
