Marianna Nehoda
Marianna Nehoda was born in the Ukraine and comes from a family of professional musicians. After graduation from the State Academic Conservatory of Lvov, Ukraine, she continued her career as a piano soloist and accompanist with a chamber group. She performed in numerous competitions throughout the former Soviet Union, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. During this time, she received an honorary title, “Accompanist of Hi-Level Category.” Since 1997 she has performed throughout West Europe, USA and Mexico as a piano soloist, accompanist and with chamber groups. Marianna also performs with her husband, an acclaimed ballet dancer. Marianna continues performing, teaching and is a ballet class accompanist. She has accompanied many master classes for famous ballet masters. In August 2008 she was invited to Sapporo, Japan as accompanist for “Japan Grand Prix” competition. Marianna is currently a principal pianist with the California Ballet Company, and a piano accompanist at USCD. She is also a member of the California Chamber Orchestra.
