Sydney Kidd
Sydney began her dance journey at age four with Temecula Dance Company. She has trained in all styles of dance and started competing at the age of six until she graduated in 2020. Sydney is currently attending CSULB to further her education in business. During her years participating in TDC’s competitive programs, she won numerous awards and scholarships in her solos and group routines. Throughout Sydney’s dancing career she has been a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, performed at several Mary Murphy charity events, a YoungArts winner in jazz, and has been a part of the IXS pre-professional program. She was also named Entertainer of the Year in 2019 at Temecula Dance Company. For several years she studied and traveled to assist under Jimmy Peters, the Artistic Director. This is where she found her niche for creating a positive, inspiring, and fun teaching environment for young students. She feels so blessed for all the training and opportunities that TDC has given her. Therefore she wants to provide dancers with the right tools so they can experience similar opportunities.
